- Creating temporary reservoirs
- Benefits
- Reusable – Deploys, drains, and packs away for repeated use.
- Fast deployment – Installed by a few people with no heavy machinery.
- Stable – Twin-chamber, anti-roll design resists movement under load.
- Watertight & gas-tight – High-frequency-welded seams for structural strength.
Maintenance & Storage
Drained and rinsed after use, then folded down for compact storage and transport.
Rapid H2O
- Uses
- Flood protection
- Spill response and containment
- Water diversion
- Wildfire applications
- Benefits
- Multi-use – One system covers flood, spill, diversion, and wildfire.
- Reusable – Multi-decade design life; redeployed, not sent to landfill.
- Driveable – Can be driven over where site access requires it.
- Flexible layout – Shaped around corners and joined to any length.
- Rapid – Faster to place than sandbags.
- Steel-reinforced – Compartmentalized, water-filled construction for strength and stability.
Defender Flood Wall
- Uses
- Single access points and driveways
- Individual buildings through to full residential and commercial developments
- Rapid-response flash flood diversion
- Temporary flood protection for construction sites
- Containment of mains water bursts and pollution incidents
- Benefits
- Lightweight – Quick and easy deployment by a single person.
- Rapid setup – Low weight allows faster installation, helping protect more property in less time.
- Stable – Designed to stay firmly in place, with friction and water pressure providing secure anchoring.
- Flexible – Suitable for curves and corners using custom corner sections, and capable of bridging small steps with dedicated gable sections.
- Space-efficient – Compact when stacked, requiring minimal storage space and easy to transport.
Corner Support
Defender flood barrier curve sections allow the creation of both inward and outward corners, making it possible to fully enclose and protect contained areas from flooding.
Maintenance
After use, Defender flood barrier can be quickly dismantled and cleaned with a standard garden hose.
Storage
Defender flood barrier sections are stackable, requiring minimal storage space and allowing for easy transport. Units can be palletised to meet customer requirements. As a guide, a standard timber pallet holds approximately 26 Defender flood barrier sections (around 16 metres), while a 40-foot container can accommodate up to 1 kilometre.

IBS
- Uses
- Community flood protection
- Road and railway closures
- Industrial and commercial premises
- Industrial and commercial premises
- Single access points
- Benefits
- Lightweight – Aluminium posts and beams for easy transport and installation.
- Quick to install – Simple assembly with minimal tools.
- Long lifespan – High-quality materials for durability.
- Free-standing – Posts support flood heights up to 3 m.
- Flexible levels – Partial beam installation for lower flood levels.
- Fully planned – Complete logistics planning provided for each system.
Flexibility
Suited to straight defence lines and curves — for example a radius of 20 m or more at 2 m post spacing, or 30 m or more at 3 m spacing, with special corner posts for tighter bends. It accommodates ground slopes up to 5%, overcomes local surface unevenness up to 15 mm via a special ground seal, and uses height transition pieces to bridge steps or level changes.
Erection & Dismantling
A 100 m straight wall with 3 m post spacing and a 1.2 m protection height takes approximately 1 to 2 hours for 4 to 8 instructed workers to install. Dismantling — including removal to storage and cleaning — takes about twice as long.
System Variations
IBS BSH-I 50 (50 mm beams) for applications up to 1.5 m; IBS BSH-I 100 Light (100 mm beams) up to 3 m; and IBS BSH-I 100 (100 mm beams) up to 5 m.
Storage
Stored contact-free in stackable galvanised steel pallets fitted with lifting points, tension belts, and forklift positions; beams and posts can be rinsed off with a water hose after use.
