Muscle Wall

Muscle Wall is a modular, high-strength interlocking barrier that is filled with water for ballast, allowing it to stand against rushing or standing water without heavy machinery. Its L-shaped, patented toe design uses the water’s own hydrostatic pressure to anchor the wall to the ground.
The system deploys far faster than sandbags — a small crew can install roughly 100 feet in about 30 minutes, and it can be placed even after floodwater has begun to rise. It is reusable event after event: pull the plugs, drain the water, and pack the segments down for storage.

Maintenance & Storage

After use, the segments are drained, rinsed, and stored for the next deployment.

Eco-dam

Eco-dam is a reusable, fast-deploying water-filled flood barrier and temporary cofferdam, fabricated from high-tensile fabric and PVC with high-frequency-welded seams that are both waterproof and gas-tight.
Its twin-chamber design, separated by an internal partition, locks the unit in place under uneven water pressure to prevent rolling while letting water move freely inside. It fills and drains on site without heavy machinery and is factory pressure-tested.

Maintenance & Storage

Drained and rinsed after use, then folded down for compact storage and transport.

Rapid H2O

Rapid H2O is Defender’s flagship barrier: a compartmentalized, steel-reinforced, water-filled system engineered to handle multiple water and hazard scenarios from a single reusable product.
It is faster to place than sandbags, can be driven over, shaped around corners, and joined to any length. Built for a multi-decade service life, it is redeployed rather than sent to landfill.

Defender Flood Wall

Defender flood barrier is a portable, freestanding flood barrier designed for rapid deployment in urban environments, on hard surfaces such as tarmac, paving, and concrete. It can be extended to any desired length.
Available in two heights, Defender flood barrier can effectively divert floodwater up to 0.75 meters. Each box section weighs less than 4 kg for a 0.5-meter section, making the system incredibly easy to set up. The barriers remain stable without any external fastening, relying on the weight of the floodwater itself to keep them in place, even at full height.
Defender flood barrier is especially effective during flash floods, quickly managing fast-moving water and redirecting it away from vulnerable areas, such as entrances. The sections simply rest on the ground, allowing water to be diverted.
The system is constructed by linking together box sections, and the flexible ±3° coupling enables the creation of curves. Specific corner pieces allow for inward and outward angles as needed.
After use, Defender flood barrier units can be quickly disassembled and cleaned with a garden hose. The stackable design ensures they take up minimal storage space and are easy to transport.

Corner Support

Defender flood barrier curve sections allow the creation of both inward and outward corners, making it possible to fully enclose and protect contained areas from flooding.

Maintenance

After use, Defender flood barrier can be quickly dismantled and cleaned with a standard garden hose.

Storage

Defender flood barrier sections are stackable, requiring minimal storage space and allowing for easy transport. Units can be palletised to meet customer requirements. As a guide, a standard timber pallet holds approximately 26 Defender flood barrier sections (around 16 metres), while a 40-foot container can accommodate up to 1 kilometre.

Acquastop

Aquastop is a made-to-measure, pressure-fit flood barrier for individual openings such as doors, garages, shopfronts, and windows. It seals an opening using a compression system that requires no permanent rails, profiles, or drilling.
Because it fits within the opening’s own reveal, it can be put up by one person in moments and removed cleanly for reuse, leaving the building’s appearance unchanged when stored away.

Floodmatik

Floodmatik is a fully automatic, passive flood barrier that requires no power and no human intervention. During normal use it sits hidden and flush within a doorway or threshold.
As floodwater rises, the barrier lifts on its own buoyancy to form a watertight seal before water reaches the threshold, then lowers itself back into place once the water recedes — protecting the property whether or not anyone is on site.

IBS

The IBS demountable flood protection system erects a temporary flood defence wall to protect against flooding while leaving the landscape largely unchanged during normal conditions. It is used for community flood protection, road and railway closures, industrial and commercial premises, and coastal flood-protection schemes.
In principle the system consists of two mobile components: centre support posts, set at regular intervals and bolted onto permanently pre-installed anchor plates, and aluminium dam beams that stack between the posts. Beams can be partially installed for lower flood levels.

Flexibility

Suited to straight defence lines and curves — for example a radius of 20 m or more at 2 m post spacing, or 30 m or more at 3 m spacing, with special corner posts for tighter bends. It accommodates ground slopes up to 5%, overcomes local surface unevenness up to 15 mm via a special ground seal, and uses height transition pieces to bridge steps or level changes.

Erection & Dismantling

A 100 m straight wall with 3 m post spacing and a 1.2 m protection height takes approximately 1 to 2 hours for 4 to 8 instructed workers to install. Dismantling — including removal to storage and cleaning — takes about twice as long.

System Variations

IBS BSH-I 50 (50 mm beams) for applications up to 1.5 m; IBS BSH-I 100 Light (100 mm beams) up to 3 m; and IBS BSH-I 100 (100 mm beams) up to 5 m.

Storage

Stored contact-free in stackable galvanised steel pallets fitted with lifting points, tension belts, and forklift positions; beams and posts can be rinsed off with a water hose after use.

Defender Floating Tank Top (DFTT)

LIID Energy & Water Conservation Systems are floating, modular hexagonal covers for frac pits, storage tanks, and clean-water supplies, for which Defender is the exclusive dealer. With an R4 insulation value, they cut heating costs in cold conditions and block nearly all evaporation in hot, dry, or windy conditions — reducing trucking, transfer, and water costs. The covers float with changing water levels, deter birds and other wildlife, and are fully reusable, repairable, and easy to clean, with a modular design that conforms to any pit or tank size or shape.

Defender Spill Containment (DSC)

MAAT is Defender’s industrial-strength portable spill containment, engineered, built, and serviced to keep releases off the ground on working sites. It is designed and manufactured in North America and deployed throughout it.
Construction is rated to -40°C cold-crack, with a 60-mil RPP base membrane, 180-mil vibration-reinforced strips, and sealed galvanised L-bracket edging plasma-cut, hydraulically bent, and sealed into the membrane rather than bolted on.

Sizes & Options

From compact spill mats to 36 ft × 60 ft runways, plus custom builds — widths to 12 ft and beyond, wall heights of 4 to 12 inches, sealed L-bracket, and reinforcement to 180-mil.
